The next Nappachinos is on May 19th, 10.30 am at The Link, Windlesham. Marcia Page will guide us on interpreting / appreciating some of the “Paintings of Women” at the National Gallery.
Having been to Marcia’s previous talks on art , it is fascinating what you learn and what you can look out for to help appreciate these famous paintings. It really takes on a marvelous new perspective when it is all explained.
Bring a friend too… as always there will be coffee and cake!
For those of you who have not been before, you are welcome to bring your “little ones” and there will be help at hand to look after them.

On Monday 17th March, Carey Sheffield will inspire us with ideas for Spring arrangements. If you always wanted to be a bit more creative than “sticking a bunch of flowers straight into a vase”…..this one could be for you!
Carey promises that she will show us some practical but effective ideas. Usual time 10.30am at the Link, St John’s Church, Windlesham.

We are pleased to have Maria Sanger coming along to Nappachinos on Feb 25th @10.30am at The Link, St John’s church. Some of you may be thinking of a suitable musical instrument for your children or maybe even for yourself. Maria is a local, experienced and professional player of the recorder.
It will be an informal chat/workshop on how you/your child or a group of friends could learn/continue to play the recorder at whatever age!
Some of you may have played the recorder in years gone by. This could be a chance to re-kindle, inspire and help your children discover their musical talent!
Looking forward to seeing you and please let Noeline (noeline@sanders-family.co.uk) know if you will be there.

Why not come along to Nappachino on Mon 21 Jan, 10:30am at the Link. We’ll be having a skiing talk by Martin Chilver-Stainer. Martin is a friend of ours and has kindly agreed to come and give some tips on making the most of your skiing experience.
This is very topical as some of you will no doubt be looking forward to skiing breaks over the half term and Spring break this year or in the future. Infact, if you have any interest in skiing this is for you!
Martin is an ex-MD of a leading ski equipment manufacturer and is passionate about the sport. He was a British acrobatic ski champion and a qualified ski instructor.
The talk is relevant to those who have never skied before or “semi-pro’s”, just as much. He will talk about skiing tips with children, ski techniques, ski equipment etc.
“We went skiing over the Christmas break. Tony and I were lapsed skiers and it was Anjali’s first time. The tips Martin passed on at a recent talk were invaluable. Martin gave us some pointers which meant that we were informed enough and aware to ask the right questions and check that we were being fitted properly, rather than the blind faith approach we have had before. It was a good refresher on technique tips to get us mentally prepared as well.”

Hoorah! It didn’t rain and we had a really fun walk. This isn’t just a youth, kids and families event but it’s a lovely photo so I thought I’d put it here. Thanks to everyone who came - same time and place next year.
